It is great that you are noting what is crossing all of our minds- I honestly did not think that attacks would begin on the night of the election, but i was completely mistaken and taken by somewhat of a surprise. These events prove that racism is still alive in the hearts of people, but hopefully this election will break whatever tension there still may be between different races/cultures. Change first needs to take place in the hearts and minds of people before it takes place in our country as a whole.
